Summer Activities in Full Swing

The hills are alive in Sundance this summer and great activities are everywhere!

Cool off floating the Provo River or take in the views on a chair lift ride to Ray’s summit, then explore a little nature on one of Sundance’s many hiking trails or on horseback. Find more info and ideas here.

Still looking for some last-minute July 4th activities? Each year the Utah Symphony performs patriotic favorites at the Sundance Outdoor Ampitheatre. This year’s June 29th performance still has tickets available (we checked for you!). Click the link below for more info from the Sundance Resort.

You can also take a quick jaunt to Provo for some fabulous week and day-0f celebrations. America’s Freedom Festival begins July 2nd with everything from art shows, tournaments, parades, and more.  At the conclusion of this festival is the much-anticipated Stadium of Fire. Did you know that this event is one of the nation’s oldest and largest patriotic celebrations? The fireworks are not to be missed and can be viewed from any high point in Provo!

*Check out our Happenings page for info on events and festivals all year long.
