Visitor Reviews & Stories
I can't say enough about our wonderful stay at Fox Hollow with the help of our friends at Stewart Mountain Lodging. What a perfect place to relax, enjoy family and the beauty of this Mountain retreat. Rooms were comfortable and clean, out door living space made it great for entertaining family and friends, easy walk to Sundance Resort and amazing scenery. We had wild turkey's and deer in our backyard every morning and evening. It doesn't get better than that!

We just wanted to thank you for all your hospitality in our recent stay at Sundance. Each year our stay just gets better and better. And the whole vacation was topped off by a visit to Hank's old homestead and the giggles and joy my grandchildren had when riding the pully swing for the first time. Of course my children have experienced the joy of the swing now for over 30 years. New generation, new experiences. The teepee is so wonderful, as I went into the entrance, the spirit of Hank was almost palpable. My grandkids live in Brooklyn and come out to Utah for a month every summer and despite Lake Powell for several days, the Zoo, Swimming and Snow Bird rec area for children, when my son asked what was their favorite part of their stay in Utah, they both yelled at the top of their lungs "Sundance". Then Taylor (pictured below and 5 years old) added also at the top of his lungs, "Grandma when we come back in 2014 I am going to jump off the swing and right into the river." My son could not object since he grew up doing the same and making lanterns and cutting holes in his new jeans as Hank taught him to whittle.
The fact that you and Brad have developed "Stewart Mountain Lodging" just seems so "right" as you know and bring to 2013 the spirit of the beginnings of the mountain. Have no doubt we will be back as Taylor says in 2014.
All the best,

Fox hollow was the perfect house for our configuration of people. We had a couple with a baby who stayed right outside the kitchen door in a guesthouse. It had two nice sized rooms and two full baths. Perfect for a couple and child. Could have slept another adult on the pull out sofa.
Nice large living room, eat in kitchen. All one big room and full bath. Nice big deck. Fire pit and hot tub.
Upstairs, there is a huge master bedroom and bath, open to the downstairs, loft like. Big tub next to the fireplace. Would be fun in the winter! Another bedroom and bath up.
The house was great and Vicki at Stewart Mountain Lodging was a gracious, helpful host! And Sundance has the best food, esp the Sunday brunch buffet.

My company recently sponsored a retreat for our sales leadership, using several cabins, Fox Hollow being one of them that we rented through Stewart Mountain Lodging. The staff went out of their way to make sure that the cabin setup was perfect. The cabins themselves were breathtakingly furnished. We met as a group for training in one of the larger cabins, and there was plenty of room for all 30 of us. We were able to save money overall because we didn't need to rent meeting space, we were able to cook some of our own food, and we had local restaurants deliver the rest. This made the entire event cheaper than using an in-town hotel, with many more opportunities for creating lifetime memories. We will definitely be back, in fact I'm trying to think of other meetings we hold that could be moved into this idyllic mountain setting. Thanks to all the Stewart Mountain Lodging staff of their meticulous attention to detail and friendly service.
