The mountains are calling. At Sundance you’ll find unhurried, uncrowded, unbelievable skiing on 41 runs covering 500 acres of snowy terrain and 2,153 of vertical. Ski through thick evergreen forests, down long cruising slopes, across wide bowls, or straight down steep and narrow chutes. You want it, we’ve got it, whether you’re an expert or a rank beginner. Sundance is home to 14 km of wide, groomed trails through aspen groves and alpine meadows. There are 10 km of dedicated trails through the woods for snowshoers. Soldier Hollow in Wasatch Mountain State Park near Midway offers 1,200-foot sliding lanes with lift service for both day and night tubing. Great, affordable outdoor family bq. To assure a quality experience, Soldier Hollow limits the sale of tubing tickets. On Saturdays and busy holidays, you’ll want to purchase your tickets in advance with a credit card. Experience Utah’s most scenic outdoor skating rink in Midway, just over 20 minutes from Sundance. Midway is a short drive and worth every minute. We can help make it a full day event if you are interested. Ask us about one of our favorite restaurants there where you can warm up after skating.
Enjoy breathtaking views of Mount Timpanogos, Strawberry Valley and the Wasatch Mountain Range. There are several venues for snowmobiling very close to Sundance, with over 200 miles of groomed trails through the high Uintas, where you may catch sight of some wildlife.
Experience your own private winter wonderland as you embark on a dog-sledding excursion through the beautifully frosted mountains of Park City. They are offering horse drawn wagon rides at the Jordanelle State Park that take you through a magical trail of some of the best Christmas lights in the area.
