Sundance Resort – Ski & Snowboard
The mountain is calling. At the Sundance Resort you’ll find unhurried, uncrowded, unbelievable skiing on 41 runs covering 500 acres of snowy terrain. Ski through thick evergreen forests, down long cruising slopes, across wide bowls, or straight down steep and narrow chutes. From expert to beginner rank you will find everything you need.
– Ski lifts are open from 9:00 AM to 4:30 PM from mid-December to April.
– Enjoy Twilight and Night Skiing until 9:00 pm on Monday, Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
– When you’re ready to take a break, stop in at mountaintop Bear Claw Cabin for a warm cuppa and some grub. The 360-degree view will knock your socks off. You can see the surrounding Wasatch mountains, across the Heber and Utah Valleys, and clear into tomorrow.

Jordanelle Express Gondola
It’s not that we don’t love skiing at Sundance. But let’s face it, after enjoying the quaint slopes of Sundance for a couple days, what could be better than a short 30 minute drive to Deer Valley’s Jordanelle Express Gondola? Widely recognized as the #1 ski area in North America, Deer Valley is the ultimate skiing destination, and it’s just a short drive from Sundance, UT. Enjoy the expansive runs and limited passes sold at Deer Valley while staying in the intimacy and privacy of Sundance, UT. You get the best of both worlds while skiing Utah’s greatest snow on earth.
Drive down to Provo Canyon US-189 and turn left towards Heber for 15 miles. Turn left onto US-189/US-40 E/S Main St as you pull into Heber and continue 9 miles. Take exit 8 toward Deer Hollow Rd 0.4 miles and turn left onto Deer Hollow Rd 0.1 miles and then your first right to stay on Deer Hollow. Follow that and you are 1 mile away from the Jordanelle Express.
