The Utah State Scenic Highway 92, on which Sundance is located (also locally called “The Alpine Loop”) is a fantastic drive through spectacular scenery with great mountain views. Come explore these 3 dazzlingly decorated caverns. You’ll have to hike about 1.5 miles up to the cave entrance, but the caves are worth the climb. You’ll see helictite and anthodite formations, and a knock-your-socks off view of the American Fork Canyon.

Reservations are required as they do sell out often especially weekends and holidays. Tickets can be purchased online in advance.

Cascade Springs

Cascade Springs is a refreshing oasis of lush vegetation, inviting pools, and cascading waterfalls located within a 20 minute drive from the Sundance Resort continuing up SR-92. About three miles from the Forest Ranger booth where you buy your pass, turn right onto the Cascade Springs Scenic Drive and continue for another seven miles to the spring’s trailhead. Water from the springs flows over a series of travertine terraces and pools and eventually continues on its way to nearby Provo River.
