Close Friends and Beautiful Birds

We held our first annual Autumn Equinox party at Hanks. Our dear friend and talented Chef Kris Dews hosted a private party on the stream, under the stars. It was an intimate group of 25 guests and close friends, gathered to enjoy and share this beautiful time of year in the mountains of Sundance, UT.

We invited our friend Patti Richards that runs the Great Basin Wildlife Rescue. Patti had several birds she needed to release back into the wilderness. She felt our venue at Hanks was the perfect setting. After mingling and learning more about her organization and birds she released 2 Great Horned Owls back into the wilderness of Sundance. We are honored to bring back such beautiful creatures into our backyard.

If you have a special event or want to create an evening or afternoon that everyone will remember for years to come ask us about what has been so successful so far. We would be happy to help organize a special event for you and your group.

Salmon, Filet Mignon, Beets, Salad and Vegetables picked fresh from a local garden, wine and great company all made for an unforgettable event at Hank’s in celebration of the Autumn Equinox.

Great Horned Owl – Rehabilitated Release

We were honored to partner with Patti Richards from Great Basin Wildlife Rescue for our Autumn Equinox event. She educated us on her local wildlife rehabilitation center with her educational birds including a Golden Eagle and released two Great Horn Owls at our event.
