Pet Friendly Sundance Mountain Cabin Vacation

A Mountain Cabin Vacation for Everyone

We are dog people and the thought of leaving the furry family member behind at a kennel or with a neighbor is heartbreaking! Many of our cabins in Sundance are pet friendly and our experience has been the 4 legged guests have the best time and are sometime better behaved than their owners.

Dogs love the mountains. There's endless opportunity for hiking, snowshoeing, and playing. We love to host your best friend in our cabins.

Traveling with Toto

More and more families are opting to include the whole family for summer vacations. Fortunately for our guests wanting to explore and enjoy Sundance, UT this year, it means being able to extend your time in the mountains and making you and your family feel right at home. All of us here in the company are dog lovers that are guilty of not wanting to leave our furry friends behind when heading out on an extended vacation.

We’ve had great experiences with traveling dogs of our guests and find anyone wanting to travel with their dog falls into the “invite back” category. Several of our owners feel the same way and have opened their Sundance cabins to your loyal companions.

Our list of dog friendly cabins are growing: Stone Cottage, Creekside Cabin, Hillside Hideaway, Ridgetop, Mandan, Conifer Creek, Cirque Crest, Dream Catcher and Owl Spirit.

There are also a few cabins that will allow an occasional hypoallergenic lapdog that’s about the size that fits in your purse, it just takes a little convincing on our part.

Don’t forget to pack Toto’s favorite chew toys and treats to reward them for not chewing on the furniture in your mountain cabin. Packing the dog’s bed as well makes for a more comfortable car ride as well as a nice comfy place to sleep once at your destination. As much as we love our dogs (and yours) we don’t want them to sleep in bed with you. My great dane loves sleeping next to the fire all night.

We hope to get you and the whole family out to Sundance this season. Once we get you hooked on summer, we will tell you how much your dog is going to love snow shoeing with you up here. See you soon!
