Our "A" Frame of Mind cabin has it all - wood burning fireplace, hot tub, sauna, outdoor fire pit, decks with views and bistro lights to enchant. It is set on a south-facing side of the mountain a half mile above the Sundance Resort. A classic A-frame cabin with three levels is the perfect place to unwind, relax and enjoy some peace and quiet. In the summer you are walking distance to the Sundance Resort as well as the hiking trails to Stewart Falls. The outside decks provide a great spot to enjoy some sunshine and stunning mountain views.
With four bedrooms and three bathrooms, this property can accommodate the whole crew. Each level has a full bathroom. The upper level offers the master bedroom with a great balcony and a full bath.
The main level has large windows letting in an abundance of natural light and spectacular views plus a cool wood burning stove. The A-frame has a fantastic kitchen and dining area. 2 bedrooms on the main each with a queen bed that share a full bath. With a well-equipped kitchen and outdoor BBQ grill, you may be inclined to make meals on the mountain and skip the crowded restaurants. If it’s a true vacation and no cooking is on the menu, there are fantastic recommendations we can make easy or you have fantastic dining options just minutes away.
The lower level is equipped with a large screen projector TV with Dish Network and streaming. A wood burning stove on the main and lower level and a foosball table to keep everyone happy.
This is an incredible house with plenty of room for the entire family. The location is wonderful with stunning views and close to hiking and fishing. The property managers were extremely helpful and we will be back!

The hosts thought of everything, from cute books and games for our little grandbabies to sweet treats on the kitchen counter for the adults! This is our third year renting from Stewart Mountain and our 16th year celebrating Christmas in Sundance. We outgrew the rooms in the Lodge and Stewart Mountain has never let us down. You arrive to a very welcoming environment, a tree, music on and a well stocked house that becomes our home for a week. They respond to every text and are always ready to help. This year we used the concierge service for a babysitter and rental of baby equipment. Those services were terrific as well.

The A frame cabin's large windows and natural light, as well as the rustic mountain decor, were perfect for this getaway in the mountains. Plenty of room for family to spread out, and the firepit with Adirondacks plus the hot tub outdoors were invitations to enjoy the fresh air and wild ambiance. There were other homes nearby, but the location felt private and special. Highly recommend this wonderful place.

We thoroughly enjoyed "A Frame of Mind," and were able to relax and catch up on the 2 large outdoor decks, the hot tub, and the kitchen living room area. We enjoyed a walk to Stewart Falls, starting right across the street, and a walk to Sundance resort for drinks. Beautiful home, comfortable bedding, lots of amenities such as shampoo/conditioner/coffee. It was very easy to get ahold of someone for advice. Highly recommend!

Our experience at "A Frame of Mind" in Sundance was absolutely fantastic! The house was exactly as described—spotless, beautifully maintained, and thoughtfully equipped. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook delicious meals, making it feel like home.
The beds were very comfortable (master bed maybe too soft), with high-quality linens that made for restful nights after days on the slopes. The hot tub was a great highlight to our evenings.
Overall, this property exceeded our expectations, and we would absolutely stay here again. Highly recommend it for anyone looking for a clean, cozy, and well-appointed ski rental in Sundance.

We had such a delightful stay at A Frame of Mind and would highly recommend. The cabin is set in a beautiful area of Sundance, where you have peeks of those skiing the runs (amazing view at night). The cabin is multi levels, well-equipped kitchen, comfortable beds/bedding, multi-level decks and stunning windows in the very large A framed cabin. The lower level is essentially an entire secondary space with living room/projector screen TV with large sectional, master bedroom, bathroom, sauna, kitchenette, game area. Excellent for large groups, but still a cozy place for a couple to enjoy. Very easy to navigate to, clear directions and entry. The roads were being plowed, so we didn't experience any issues driving in or out. Thank you for a great stay.

Perfect house for a fall family vacation. It is absolutely beautiful in setting, furnishings, and decoration. The 3 levels allow people to spread out and beds were perfect. Parking spots easy to access. The game room with projector screen was perfect for gaming sessions and college football viewing. Location allowed easy access to resort amenities and hikes. We all had our favorite spot outdoors either on the decks, hot tub, hammock or firepit. Kitchen stocked perfectly! Our Sundance concierge super helpful and added to enjoyment of our trip.

Heads up that the circular staircase going to basement is a little slippery. We didn't even have time to try the sauna, but so many fun options here.

As a skier, I'm a sucker for A-Frames anyway, but this home was very nice. Ample parking with garage and driveway. The patio above the garage is very large and nicely appointed with plenty of space for games. The fire pit up the walkway in the trees is a nice retreat even though near the road. Being right at the path for Stewart falls was helpful. Bedrooms were well appointed and adequate in size. Not so much summer, but the sauna was great and would be awesome for winter visits. The spa was great with a seclusion fence. Spiral staircase to the basement is a bit tricky so be alert or use the outside entrance if needed for easier access. Loved the high apex of the ceiling yet was still cozy. Kitchen had everything needed for the trip. Definitely would recommend this home for even 2 people and my group already chatted about making an annual visit.

The big A frame windows let the morning sun in and let us take in the beauty of the mountains. We went on a guys ski trip to Sundance for our third year in a row. We stayed at the A-frame previously and really enjoyed our stay. It's very cozy and offers multiple spots to hang out. The staff did an excellent job getting the house stocked up with groceries prior to our arrival. Wyatt was key in accommodating us for last minute needs and a couple of rescue rides. We will be back next year.

We were searching for a place last minute when our rental fell through and Stewart Mountain Lodging was there for us! They were adaptable and responsive in getting us to A Frame of Mind within 30 minutes, and this place is absolutely among the best we have ever stayed in. Fully equipped kitchen with everything under the sun, huge comfy hang out areas and overall very high end cabin vibe. Very luxurious place. When we had questions during our stay they were very helpful and quick to respond. Can't wait to come back here. Surely even more beautiful in summer.

A Frame of Mind is a dreamy place to stay. The location and proximity to the resort is perfect and the aesthetic of the decor has been curated beautifully. We loved the amenities, using the hot tub every night under the stars. We also loved the fire pit in the forest decorated so nicely with the sting lights. We loved the sauna, every room had a VERY comfortable bed, and the kitchen was well stocked. There was plenty of space to gather together and to separate into our own areas. Thank you Stewart Mountain for checking on us throughout the stay and making sure our vacation at Sundance was 5-Stars!!! We would definitely recommend this cabin and host!

Spent a wonderful week in the gorgeous A-Frame! Sometimes it's a little stressful trying a new vacation rental because you really don't know what you're going to get until you get there but from the moment you walk in you know Stewart Mountain Lodging rentals are different. Relaxing music is playing, everything is in perfect place and the kitchen is stocked with spices, tea, good pots & pans and literally everything you can think of. This cabin was so tidy, organized, well decorated and adorable! The subtle touches did not go unnoticed. The sauna, hot tub, views, solitude and responsiveness of SML team was amazing. Thanks for making us feel welcome and allowing us to extend extra days! We loved spending time with our college kids and family on this visit. We'll be back!

The sauna and hot tub were highlights as well as the enormous windows with a beautiful views of Sundance Mountain. My personal favorite was the exquisite photo of Robert Redford in the 2nd floor bathroom. The beds were comfortable as was all the furniture. The wood stairs and dining area wood table were gorgeous! This cozy A Frame could not have been any more of a dream. The incredible decor and esthetic drew us in to book, but the amenities were unmatched and would bring us back again. Wood burning fire place, projector screen to watch movies on the chilly fall night, fire pit, gorgeous deck with Mountain View’s, sauna, giant hot tub. We came for a girls weekend of pampering and we were spoiled beyond what we anticipated. Not to mention any time we had even the smallest hiccup (like running out of propane because we couldn’t get enough of the fire pit views) they responded and took care of us immediately! You have the luxury of a 5 star resort, but the space and privacy of your own home. We’re already talking about making it an annual trip. Thanks for the incredible weekend and memories made!

Such a great cabin, we would absolutely rent it again. It was clean and very large, it accommodated 8 adults and 2 kids very comfortably, it would easily sleep 10 adults or a few more children if some were willing to sleep on a couch. The kids loved sleeping in the loft and having their own space. The king bed downstairs was so comfortable, we slept great. The sauna was amazing after a long day of skiing. The hot tub is an older unit but worked perfect and we enjoyed sitting in it while it was snowing. The cabin has a ground level door which made bringing in all of our ski gear a breeze. We definitely recommend this cabin and have to several family and friends.

One of the great things about this cabin is that you can stay connected to technology with WiFi, TVs, and a huge movie screen, or you can choose to enjoy the quiet natural beauty and peaceful serenity. Sip coffee on the impressive deck, read a book in a cozy, luxurious nook, go for a hike, soak in the huge hot tub, enjoy the sauna, play a game of foosball, walk to Sundance and enjoy the Owl Bar and quaint shops, meditate in shadow of the majestic mountain, or cozy up and watch some TV. We skied at Sundance Resort and this cabin is the perfect location, literally walking distance to the lifts. Kitchen is big and airy with a beautiful dining area for meals. I was so happy to find this MOST PERFECT cabin to stay in with my husband for a little get-away.
I was pleasantly surprised that the beds were so comfortable and high end. I am usually disappointed in a mattress but slept like a baby! Not to mention it has a hot tub AND sauna.
The gorgeous views from every room were much appreciated. I especially loved being able to make breakfast while looking at the mountains. Being within walking distance of Sundance resort and across from a lovely hiking trail gave us plenty to do, but I could have just laxed by the fireplace the whole weekend. If you stay here be sure and get the massage at the Sundance Spa… heaven!
